Can confirm.
1. I didn’t realize I was in college till Junior year. It is really hard to pick up the GPA after that 2 year downhill slide. Definitely took classes that interested me without any plan. Sure that English degree comes in handy at parties, but other than that it is a piece of paper I haven’t seen in over a decade.
2. Exact opposite where I live. I was 5 years behind the times buying a house so paid way more last year because I didn’t understand down payments, mortgages, and am in general an idiot apparently. Sure would have to do some stuff, but I wouldn’t have paid so much and had a huge equity stake for the next house.
Spot on. 2.5 hour layover in ATL from toronto last night. Hit the Sky Club for dinner, some red wine like a gentleman, then hit up the showers before walking right onto the plane and slept the entire flight back. I’ll never go back, you can pry my Access from my cold dead hands.
Amex Priority security lane in Toronto was shorter than Global Entry. Worth it
Got married earlier this month. Can vouch for all of these except 10, that shit was too expensive, but we did have 8 different drink choices. And for the love of all things: NO YOU CANT BRING YOUR DAMN KIDS. Seriously, everyone reads “No Children Please” as “No Children Except Mine”.
Austin Bachelor party guy, get your money back and get a house closer to town. Seriously, 30ish year old Austin native here and Cedar Park is where dreams go to die. And Jonestown? nah brah. Suck it up, go closer in to town and jet in and jet out of the SXSW/Paddy’s festivities. Trust me, its fun and you can still get out.
It’s also March, you do not want to be on the lake. Check out North Austin south of 183, west of I-35. That way you are still out of the way, but can get in and out easily via the Uber.
I got anxiety reading this. Just went through our registry for the third time. We have a set for baking bread that costs close to $300. Gluten hasn’t been allowed in our house for years.

Don’t move to Austin. I hear Dallas is nice.

About to hit Diamond on Delta and I fully endorse this article.

Whelp, this is my life, except replace engagement with upcoming wedding details and her friends announcing the birth of even more children.
Just spent some time on her Insta. She is definitely expecting a proposal.

I saw these dudes from my office (not my office, but open floor plan’s office) window. Made me regret leaving the startup life.
