I got chewed out by a client yesterday. First time in 8 years in my industry. This old dude mother fucked me up and down the room. I honestly had no idea how to handle it.
Most people have mistaken me for this dickhead Dave Ruff. It seems logical because Dave also works as a closer and in fact does the same exact thing I do and he also has a penchant for Valentino suits and Oliver Peoples glasses. Dave and I even both use Supreme Cream, although I have a slightly better shave.
To piggy back off this, the guy you’re talking about is freshly divorced and in his late 20’s/early 30’s (I assume). I say if you want to slide in, go for it, but do not expect a relationship to come from this. FWB for sure but I highly doubt this guy is looking to go from divorced to locked up again in the span of a few months. I would bet this guy is looking to lay pipe anywhere and everywhere with the last thing on his mind being a new, committed relationship.
Girl graduates college, gets menial marketing job, has glass of wine before bed most nights, meets guy and they have normal relationship. Gripping content.
It starts getting real tough around 27-28. At that point, you resolve yourself to the fact that you can no longer handle Thursday nights on a mental, physical and financial level. It does re-surface once every couple of months but then you wake up on Friday and stay strong for a few months until Thursday creeps it’s ugly head around once more. It is a vicious cycle my man.

Can confirm. Since I got married my wife has essentially stopped asking that question.
