And I agree, it’s really hard to deal with this question at parties and give a short explanation without boring the person to death before their eyes glaze over. Agreed! I’ve been completing an informal survey every time I check in, and basically have heard 9/10 times from the front desk people that experienced travelers pick the points over the gift bags.
