Technically we came here to start our own party and kicked England out when they kept trying to tell us what to do, but I get your point.
(If you’re a fan of Vietnamese food and find yourself on Montrose, check out Les Bag’et. Had lunch there for the first time and it’s incredible.)
Take a few moments tomorrow to stop and let it all sink in. The best advice I can give you is to think to yourself, “I’m going to remember this moment” several times throughout the day or it will all go by in one big blur. Congrats and God speed.
Respect. My eye Dr now sells Persols eyewear and I can’t wait for the new frames to get here. I hate to admit I thought of you when I picked them out the other day.
Fellow bearded brethren here. Barber shop trim is the best way to go. Not sure what side of your new neighborhood you’re on but there’s a Rooster’s at Holcombe and Stella Link. I’ve been to other locations and they do a very fine job. And give you beer while you wait.
I really like to think they’ll be okay in the playoffs. Making it two years ago and being so close to beating the Royals gives the core guys on the roster the experience a young team needs for playoff success. I also don’t see a threat from Cleveland (except for them being pissed off after 2016), but if both Boston and New York get in those are intimidating franchises to face in October. Correa’s injury is a scare but they still looked VERY good last night. Great pitching, fielding, and Gattis stepping up with the two homers made it a fun game to watch.
“If you’re the smartest person in the room, find a room with smarter people.”
“The great thing about being a pessimist is you’re either right or pleasantly surprised.” – Not sure who, but definitely not me on both.
Fellow Closers, I enjoyed an Astros win from row three in the Diamond Club last night, which means I have indigestion from the beverages, hot dogs, nachos, and other free sustenance located behind home plate. However, the boss is on vacation for a week, I got all my to-do’s done yesterday, and it should be a relaxing Wednesday. JK. After Ross’ motivation speech I’ve decided to kick today’s ass so I can sail through tomorrow and maybe sneak out early on Friday.
To be fair if you’re in PR then you (or your firm) and the clients you represent are already hated to some degree or else your job wouldn’t exist. Might as well be hated for doing nothing all day than busting your ass all week.
Why?
Glad to hear. Restaurant was Café Rabelais in the West U shopping center. 30 page wine list and the food was spectacular.
I went to a movie and tried a new restaurant with the wife on Saturday night. Might be getting too old for this place…..
Look at you, living my best life.

And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Will’s croakies use on his regular glasses.
Also, request for a Friday Morning live blog for the Open? Thanks.
Yeah, our summer intern doesn’t look like that.
When I fly home my mom insists on meeting me inside and without fail forgets where she parked her car.
And for the people out there who haven’t seen “Hello Ladies” you’re missing out.
Date two is what gets you laid. Good date two = date three, and date three = sex.

This was actually a very nice change. Thank you.

Maybe start with some food?
(But congrats, too.)
I’ll give you a Nice Work for a decent bottle of rum. Ball’s in your court, jstrum.
