Disagree a little slightly. Having to go to the hospital, especially because you had a seizure, is definitely anxiety-inducing to me. Hopefully the author of that post is doing well now.
Adding to the second point, I think it would only be worse to be a toy as a museum exhibit or collectible. You can’t even move out of your box in those cases!
Definitely continue this series! There can be a lot of unexpected tricks during the job hunt and interview stage, and you give great, non-BS advice others won’t give.
Incredibly accurate for the unemployed and waiting for interviews. Unfortunately, as I’ve found, the funemployed often have the advantage during interviews, since there’s not as much riding on the line, and won’t seem nervous or desperate from the interviewer’s perspective. Unemployment is a cycle I would never wish on anyone.
Respect Smashburger being so high. Plus, every time you go there, if you do the 2-minute survey found on your receipt, you get free fries for next time. It’s saved me so much money over the years.
Amazing article as always, and I completely agree. After all, according to Voltaire, “is there anyone so wise as to learn by the experience of others?”
“It is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it… anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.” – Douglas Adams.
Never been a fan of him, but definitely appreciate the honesty.

The Sonic drink and American flag combo take that workspace to the next level.
Dual monitors are one of the best things to ever happen in the workplace. Makes it so much easier to crank stuff out and be in the zone at work.
I’ve also found the phrase “Where is the bathroom?” one of the essential phrases as well.
Saw Third Eye Blind in college, and it was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Really tempted to buy tickets now.
Love the 500 Days of Summer reference. Definitely see this as a series with great potential.
Thanks for getting my Friday off to such a good start! Definitely high praise.

For a person who’s so concerned about maturity and dating someone younger, it’s not very mature to string someone along like that.
Having any Queen songs on your playlist is always a good thing in my book.

At least the NYT announcement doesn’t read like the bride and groom’s resumes this time.

In the immortal words of Talking Heads, “same as it ever was.”
