Definitely do not respond. As someone who considers herself to be friends with her ex’s, I only maintain a distant “friendship” if there is a mutual respect. Obviously you were a big part of each other’s lives, and there’s nothing wrong with being friendly if you run into them, or congratulating them on a big accomplishment, but there needs to be a clear line that cannot be crossed. In my opinion, “I miss you” is not respectful to your current relationship. I just wouldn’t respond and if she keeps pushing it, maybe you can’t have a friendship with her and you need to accept it. Ex’s are important people from your past, but they can also be toxic. Tread lightly.
Exactly. Put in effort, but don’t be a stage 5. Also when I hear “it’ll happen when you least expect it,” I immediately hear that you feel bad for me. Would I like to be with someone eventually? Sure. Am I entirely content being single right now? Absolutely.
The guy going to the wedding where he doesn’t know anyone… if you choose to go, bring a girl with a fantastic personality, whoever you may be. From experience, you want someone who’s going to be a blast with. In my opinion (I’m not a guy so this may be different) having a miserable weekend just so you can get laid is not better than having a great entertaining person around you that may not hook up with. Keep in mind you’ve got to road trip with this girl too.
That’s a good point Chicago. I’m wondering if this changes where you go, in the south I feel like saving the kiss for the second date is pretty normal! But maybe not where you’re from?
This is exactly how I feel. In my opinion, a gentleman will let me know he’s interested by asking me on a 2nd date. I don’t think kissing on a 1st date is a bad thing by any means, but chances are, I barely know you and that’s what causes the awkwardness. And waiting till the second date just amps up the suspense.
This is why you NEVER get a blow dry unless it’s a drastic cut or a color change. I always walk out with wet hair because I’m cheap and would rather get my nails done with the leftover money. The hair dressers always look disappointed in me but I never like the way they style my hair anyway.
Girl with the novel: you are spending way too much time thinking about a guy who isn’t spending enough time thinking about you. My rule of thumb is 3 strikes and you’re out. If you try to make plans on three separate occasions and you’re getting nowhere, time to move on. People do get busy but coming from someone who is perpetually busy, if they want to make time for you they’ll figure out a way to do it. It’s cool to put yourself out there, but not forever. You’re an important person with important things going on too!

Let’s not talk about the Red Wedding I just started watching GoT a few months ago and I’m still in mourning.
Haha season 9 is garbage, don’t even try.
Sad they’re dumping scrubs /: I haven’t heard of the majority of shows/movies being added.
Sup? (Can we still do that?)
A little splurge every once in a while is SO good for the soul.

Good luck! Listen to your favorite music on the drive in. You’ll do great!
Did the person in the 2nd submission really take the time to change all his capital letters into lowercase? Every time I saw “i” I cringed…
I thought the same thing.
Absolutely yes. So much respect for this.

I agree with Jesus on this one. I’m a big fan of 2nd date kisses.
Poor guy. But then again, how could he be so clueless??
I hate henleys

Grilled shrimp w/broccoli and riced cauliflower. Trying to be healthy considering I had French fries for lunch…
