I agree fully. I met one quality guy during the month I had Bumble but we had bad timing issues. First on my end then on his. So that was a bummer. But overall I’d rather just find an excuse to make small talk with people I find attractive or put myself out there in other ways. Sure it’s intimidating and definitely scarier to be rejected in person than just not messaged back, but I realized that people just don’t value you when they’re getting a bunch of messages throughout the day, or can just swipe for someone new tomorrow. The old fashion way is tough but that’s where it’s at.
I never check bags unless I absolutely have to. I’ll occasionally offer to gate check if it’s a nonstop full flight but even that’s pushing it. I like having all my belongings within arms reach… Clearly I have trust issues but I think they’re warranted.
No it’s not. I would be disappointed to not hear from a guy the next day. Any girl who gives you a hard time for that is being ridiculous. There is definitely a such thing as too much but that is not it.
As someone who’s been a lightweight ever since I first began drinking, I’ve never once disliked it or taken it for granted. I save an insane amount of money on alcohol and it’s super easy to get the perfect buzz.
I don’t work in the ER so I don’t get that kind of stuff it’s just like any other night at work. But yeah, I’d rather get paid then pretend to enjoy a holiday I don’t like. I don’t knock people who do like it, I’ve just never been a Halloween person.
Unpopular opinion, but I really dislike Halloween. Always have and I wish I didn’t, but I do. I usually just sign up to work so I have an excuse to be busy and people don’t give me a hard time.
Cmon don’t be a side chick. It’s shitty and selfish and honestly don’t you think you deserve to be pursued the right way? Cheating/getting involved with someone already in a relationship is one thing I never have and never want to understand.
I just really enjoyed the colostomy humor. As far as the serial monogamy, I think I’m the opposite, I never make it past a handful of dates. Either way dating sucks and I wish I didn’t have to do it. Guess it’s necessary to meet some of my life goals though.
