Traveling alone is one of the greatest things, there’s no compromising with somebody else on what’s happening during the day. Are you a meticulous planner than plan the day down to the minute, museum person then hit up all the museums all day, sit on the beach guy who cares there’s nobody to complain that all you’ve done is drink margs all day and sat in a beach chair. Traveling alone = true paradise.
My friend recently asked me to be a pacer for him when he runs an ultra marathon in March, that means I have to get into marathon shape. I’ve only run a handful of times since I ran a marathon in 2014 just to prove that I could do it. Getting back into cardio shape sucks.
My dad’s a former probation officer and said when he got called in for jury duty he crossed his arms and stared at the accused the entire time and when the lawyer asked if he has any biases he said “as a probation officer generally when it’s reached this stage the guy’s guilty.” First juror dismissed by the defense lawyer.
Im basically just parroting the Ringer but they’re right when they say college football is to blame for the NFL not being great. Almost all the good college teams run spread which doesn’t develop qbs and offensive linemen. Also a lot of qbs just throw check down passes now which is pretty boring.
If I never had to worry about money I’d get a customized VW van and every fall I’d head out west with my dog and just spend the entire time camping out in different parks.
I’ve been to SF multiple times and I’ve never had time to go to Alcatraz. Normally only in the city for a few hours before I drive or take the train down to Sacramento. Number 1 thing I still want to do there.
