Knoxville is cheap good living, plenty of things to do outside living in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and plenty of lakes around, yet still largely live and die around what is going on with the University’s sports teams. Downtown and the Old City have been getting face-lifts over the past 5 – 10 years and downtown life is starting to thrive. Lots of new bars are popping up, there are good concerts littered throughout the year at the Tennessee Theatre and Bijou Theatre. I think a lot of people would be surprised not only with the amount of things to do, but just how affordable it is…to drink, heavily.
I take it there are no home-team points in the instance of a tie-breaker and/or most points on the bench for a tie-breaker. All depends on the setup and rules but would be interested to see the breakdown. If after the two teams decide to collude and it backfires – that would be priceless to see Carter’s Crusaders make a run for the ‘ship. I take it all this has been well thought out.
