It’s officially WeddingSZN in my social network. Two nuptials in two weekends for me, should be a blast. Heading up to OKC for the first one tomorrow. Enjoy the weekend, y’all.
Great post. Reminds me of when my old man would cruise around our yard listening to The Scorpions and Journey on full blast in his headphones. For my money, there’s no greater Dad Move than the riding lawnmower beer, especially if you can do one on the front and one on the back and keep the wife from knowing.
Had a dream last night I broke the all-time “Jeopardy!” scoring record. Woke up still broke and still needing to grind today. Let’s make today count, family.
Man, I 100% agree with the premise and I’ve been lucky to see some great old bands lately, but I’ll disagree with you on one point: both the great stuff from the 70s and songs coming out today are both “music.” It’s perfectly fine to appreciate music from older years and the current scene! There’s no need to disparage some of the great artists of today in order to praise artists from years ago.
Shoutout to my high school basketball coach who thought this song was about hustling on the court and not slanging dope, and would play it during practices with a big smile on his face.
Woke up, rolled over, and bought a #DCONation hat in the span of three minutes this morning. It’s Casual Friday at the office. It’s gonna be a good day today, y’all. Power on through and hit the weekend running.
Well, well, well, look what’s back. It’s breakfast for dinner night again here in Texas — gonna scramble some eggs with hot sausage and vegetables. Glass of water and Glenlivet on the rocks to pair with it (probably not the right pairing, but this ain’t a Michelin-starred restaurant).
Well done, Will. I’ve always wondered how George did so well for himself, personally — opening with “My name is George. I’m unemployed and I live with my parents” doesn’t normally bode well, but the guy made it work.
There’s only one way to settle this, and that’s a Hell In The Cell winner-take-all match.
I made the mistake of drunkenly looking through texts from an ex a few weeks ago. Didn’t…didn’t feel great.
Picking up press credentials for the Dean and Deluca Invitational at Colonial today. First time ever covering a golf tourney, super excited.
Must be nice, Billy. Must be nice.
This was way, way, way too accurate.

Wow, a pure shot across the bow at Ross’s massive gambling losses last night. I love it.

Really hoping John continues to be a real one and doesn’t accidentally let something slip to Caroline.
Headed to a family reunion in the hometown. Gonna forget everyone’s names and get precisely one beer more drunk than my mom thinks I should be.

#JuniorNation forever. Great piece, man.

My friend’s older brother deemed us “Jabroni #1” and “Jabroni #2” in high school, and I’ve really taken that word and ran with it ever since.
If you can find a partner to do Warren G’s parts while you do Nate Dogg’s, “Regulate” is an all-timer.
Stevie Wonder is totally faking, though, to be clear.
