late reply, but good take on the deep eddy. Picked up some this weekend, little lime, little club soda. Very refreshing, weak cocktail that was sipped all weekend…
Three days at the inlaws house on table rock. Lots of G and T’s, hopefully a steak or two, and maybe even taking our 2 y/o out on the water for the first time. Weather looks promising. God done shed his grace on thee
was at a boat dealership one weekend wasting time and saw that a high end tritoon was being advertised for what seemed to be way to cheap of a monthly payment. Read the fine print..it was a 20 year amortization. On a boat.
Mowing the yard tonight then filets on the Traeger. Parents coming in for the day tomorrow, but 99% of their attention will be paid to the grandkid, so entertaining is easy. Then hopefully a quick 9 and some relaxation after church Sunday.
“Jamestown Ferry”- Charley Crockett to ease back into reality….
“New Year’s Day”-Charlie Robinson to warm it up a bit…
“I’m Alright”- Kenny Loggins to get back in the game…
February is the worst month of the year. No football except for maybe an early super bowl, no baseball, no meaningful basketball, no open hunting seasons, still too cold to golf or fish….
My two most reoccurring dreams for either me sitting in my office having to deal with customers I have procrastinated dealing with in real life, or me back in high school playing baseball and forgetting a piece of uniform or equipment and freaking out in the pregame trying to get ready. Terrible way to wake up and face the day…
The wife and I got a English Bulldog puppy the weekend after returning from our honeymoon, and he has been around ever since (6+ years). He’s truly part of the family, but I can honestly say it’s turned into more than originally expected. We did our homework and knew the health concerns of the breed, but his have been early and often. Between 3 daily prescriptions and prescribed food I am confident saying we spend $300+ per month, especially when you consider the quarterly checkups to make sure the medicines aren’t jacking with him. Boarding/ travel is a hassle, so even weekend trips to the lake end up in a crowded SUV since he needs to whole back to himself….
I wouldn’t sell him for $1,000,000, but I wouldn’t buy another just like him for $1. Which is also what my dad used to say about me….
I used the George Foreman the other day and was pleasantly surpirsed. Fit 8 slices, easy clean up, bacon stayed nice and flat, and no risk of grease popping my bare chest
Been on a prescription since I was a junior in HS. As long as I don’t miss a day or two I’m good, but when it’s bad even water brings on the heartburn. The wife finally got it a few months ago after a few too many sex on the beaches. Now she gets it….

10/10 would recommend. Just make sure buy beer pre-Sunday. Rookie mistake

exactly. It sucks, but that’s how it’s going to be. Learn the game and embrace it. Or don’t. That’s fine too..
at least they can’t repo your diploma, so you’ve got that going for you…
