Where are you going on vacation that provides no fodder for conversation? use your honeymoon to go see the world! It doesn’t have to be spent poolside. Our honeymoon and subsequent solo couple vacations are a great chance to reconnect when the demands of everyday life don’t leave us enough down time together. If you’re not anxiously awaiting the chance to spend some 1:1 time with your better half, you’re not with the right person.
It’s obviously not popular in the comments, but this article is spot on. My FIL is the GM at a CC and they’ve adopted or are in the process of implementing nearly all of the above. As a fellow Zag (law grad), I can commiserate. Spokane = racist hell hole. Graduated a semester early just to get out. But come March Madness, I’m 100% Zag! Go Gonzaga G-O-N-Z-A-G-A!
Great article with just the right amount of racism. *Needs picture of wealthy Chinese man. Googles famous Asian. Posts picture of Ken Jeong of South Korean descent* PGPM.
As the woman you described above, I took nothing but pride in this article. My husband is a high school teacher and I am a former NFL cheerleader turned lawyer. I am just as proud to be his arm candy as he is to show me off. Those complaining about this article likely have more issues with their own self-esteem than they do with your words. Grow a pair, ladies!
When interviewing for a summer position with the Attorney General, the male in the room stared out the window while he’s female counterpart asked the questions. Then out of nowhere he says “so, you were an NFL cheerleader?” and then continues to stare out the window. Creep.
