Mostly because it’s first thing in the morning and I’m practically sleep walking before I get coffee, but still.
I agree with what has been said above, and ultimately did leave the relationship because I was tired of playing games and feeling like the second fiddle. I can say from experience, it is much, much easier said than done.
What I meant with my original comment is that I read the Leo as being a person who comes in to stir the pot (with no real intention of committing to CMV) instead of respecting his friend’s relationship and being happy for them. That is why I believe Leo is a shitty person.
To be fair, you disagreed with icehouse and said his article was “full of bullshit and lies”. Kind of contradicts your own statement about having a civil discussion here.
With how insufferable she is all the time and how annoyed Todd seemed throughout this piece, I still had hope that he wouldn’t do it until the very end. Fuck. Pour one out for Todd.
To the first person receiving pension benefits – based on your post I assume you’re in Canada, where I have no idea what the tax/gifting laws are like. But any time you come into some large amount of money like that I would highly recommend you speak to a financial advisor. Whether you keep or give away any amount of that money, make sure you do it in a way that is the most informed and beneficial for what you want to accomplish. Also, I’m sorry that you’re in this situation in the first place. Has to be rough.
Looking back, I’m okay with how that episode turned out. But you’re right, at the time I was very frustrated with how it was going. That half hour was a little off the rails.
