I'd rather be golfing.
Seattle sucks so I write about that.
Also work...ish in recruiting. Shoot your resume to kiawahislandstripclub@gmail.com for any and all job hunt questions.
Kinda related kinda not. @WDF, @Dillon, @anyoneinAustin. Because I am still kinda in the military (if it’s anything like last year) I can get 10 tickets per day to the Dell Match Play including practice rounds. This is per day and they’re free. Let me know if anyone would be interested and we can try and sort something out.
There definitely has to be a delay in drinking and then doing. Once I have it I kill some time getting dressed, grabbing water for my dog, etc. for about 20 minutes. Then I stretch and walk the first quarter mile loosening up and getting the ants crawling on you feeling. Maybe 30 minutes from intake to actual usage.
I’d used Mr. Hyde for almost a year and it just stopped working. Tolerance is unhealthy high. Two scoops even. Can’t find anything else that works as well as Hyde once did. Suggestions?
Reviews are hit and miss on there…the higher volume of reviews the better/more accurate. If you are looking at interview reviews always filter for people who actually accepted the position. As far as workplace culture I’d mainly check facebook, twitter, etc for that. One thing Glassdoor is phenomenal at, though, is for salary expectations. Those are usually incredibly accurate and allow you to filter by geographic location, experience and stuff like that.
Ish. Varies company to company. I would find someone within the company you know and ask them what their process looks like as it varies so much. A lot of companies will have 100+ Level I Sales employees and can always make room for more if they find someone qualified. Rather than post each time they have an opening, they’ll just leave the requisition posted indefinitely that way they can capture talent as it filters in over time. One month they may hire 1 person, the next they may hire 20. That might be what’s happening to you.
100% agree with you and cube’s comments. One of the reasons I took this job was because of how bad my experience was dealing with them and I wanted to make a difference. Another reason was because I knew my “competition” wouldn’t be too tough and I knew I could advance quickly. Recruiters are people….for better or worse.
I definitely agree on the “bro” concept. I deal specifically with Veterans and I’ll let some stuff slide being a Veteran, myself. With that being said, I tell them to clean their shit up come next steps because the buddy-buddy routine is nice, but these people are coming to you looking for a fucking job. This is serious shit and people need to act accordingly. Best piece of advice, let the recruiter’s attitude and approach dictate the conversation and how you interact. If they seem immature up front, don’t drop your guard but move it from a Q&A towards more of a conversation. People want to hire people they like. I’m not saying I think recruiters SHOULD be doing it, but they are and you’ve got to adapt to the person as that snot-nosed 23 year old bro has the power at this stage.
I would wait this one out. I would continue looking elsewhere but stay patient with this company. We had something similar happen recently where a hiring freeze came down and the candidate got fucked. He was polite and understanding when we told him it would be a few weeks. He handled it like a champ and when the freeze was lifted he was candidate numero uno and ended up getting a higher paying job.
That’s 30+. At 24 you buy from ikea because that’s all you can afford. At 27-30 you buy from ikea because the extra money you make goes towards a ring and kid(s) so ikea continues to be all you can afford. You also don’t get two day hangovers because you don’t drink as much because of afford mentioned children. Getting old is “awesome.” Live while you can. PGP.
Well…I was really excited about going to the ol c-cake factory with Mrs. Kiawah tonight…then I read this and….yeah…PGP.

I threw up in front of a school bus this morning while on a run. I wasn’t even hungover. This cannot be true.
Might I suggest you take a look at this flaming hot take from the resident white guy in the “non beta male” category here at PGP.

Have 2. Can confirm.
Yeah no joke. Thanks WDF.
This year, for me. Does anyone actually go to these/has been to one and can share stories?

Someone has said it before me but….
PGP is more truth than sarcasm.

If you don’t care about calories then do the combo. Tagalong on the bottom, samoa in the middle, do-si-do on top of that.
