Big fallout actually… Almost the whole dept quit on the same day to go to a bank being “rehabbed”… Also the woman who mandated that was fired promptly… Karma!! 😉
My now-husband interviewed me (we were both analysts, I interviewed with about 6 different people). Hit it off instantly, worked together for a few months, had an office romance on the DL (though everyone knew). It was actually really fun – we got to know each other quickly, saw each other’s “real side” much sooner. I hear what you’re saying, but it kinda worked out for us.
My department was told that no one was allowed vacation days until all exceptions were cleared off the reports for FYE (Im in banking)… Missed my brother’s wedding. Wish I had been able to just quit. Our FYE was 12/31 so a lot of people missed Christmas activities with their families. Terrible.
I always thought (to a certain extent) that giving a reason was polite, rather than just saying “oh oops my bad”. Never looked at it in a negative way, though not surprised Kendra did… Jeez
Jeez, right? Does she follow the fiancee too? Why does she feel compelled to say anything at all? Does she think they’d be happy to hear from her in any capacity? So many questions…
Cant take the suspense so I just went back and re-read this whole article series… Will, don’t leave PGP, but I really hope you do more writing. Write a book! This is a great series. #prayfortodd
