AT&T Uverse was pretty awesome. Had it for a year and I loved it. Good customer service, and every time I called to complain about not receiving channels or slow internet or some b.s., they always gave me free movie channels for a few months or discounted my next bill. Nowhere can you get a haircut for under $10 anymore. Even the cheap barber shop next to the local university where I’m from has a “late night special” where they offer cuts for $10. Everywhere else (Great Clips, Sports Clips, Hair Cuttery, etc) is going to be on average $18, and anywhere good is going to be upwards of $30.
Did this for awhile. Then realized not buying it saved me money and my gums don’t feel like shit all the time. Plus having to explain to the girlfriend if she finds out…no thanks.
That was awful. Just awful. People in the south say sir and ma’am out of respect because they were raised right and taught to respect their elders and be polite. It may be a different culture than up north where everyone is bitter and rude to each other, but no need to bash and make fun of people for actually being genuinely nice people.

Just finished moving into a new place. All of these are very true. I also thought there was a serial killer breaking into my place every 5 minutes at night for the entire first week after moving in.
