Unpopular opinion here, but why can’t golfers perform under pressure? Every other important sport the fans are loud and cheering but golfers are too sensitive to handle somebody telling them they’re going to shank it. Grow up buttercup. Does Jeter try and get Red Sox fans fired? Did Ray Lewis try and fire people for heckling him? Did MJ go after guys? No to all three.
The $0.78 to every man’s $1 is an extremely misleading statistic. It does not take into account that women tend to work lower paying jobs than men as elementary school teachers, secretaries, and HR professionals. Yes there is a gap comparing like job to like job but that again varies based on companies and areas of the country. Shoe me a valid study which takes into consideration cost of living as well as variations in what different companies pay for the same position in the same area. Yes there is still a gap but not a 22% gap across the board. Long story short: don’t compare an engineer to a preschool teacher and say pay is inequal.
