Thats most companies. At mine they expect 2 weeks notice however terminate you on the spot when you submit it. Then they get upset because nobody submits their notice anymore.
From my experience asking for money stems from a few reasons. 1 many couples live together before and dont need plates/silverware/etc. 2 families don’t pay for the wedding anymore. 3 couples have much more student debt than previous generations. Therefore couples will take cash to help with household things, paying for the wedding, or paying for the honeymoon.
Im a big country fans and there is a time and place for everything. I’ll jam to Willie Nelson, Tim McGraw, Sturgill Simpson, and yes theres a place for FGL. Different strokes I reckon.
I’m doing mine a little different. The gang and I are going down to Venice, LA and staying in a drive up fishing house. Wake up run out to the oil rigs for tuna and snapper all day. Drink all night. Livin the life with fresh sushi and plenty of beer.
The only time I crave that is when the Fiance is out of town and Im cooking for myself unless you count shrimp and grits. Also steak and eggs IS breakfast not components of it.
With the exception of one college apartment we totally trashed always have gotten my deposit back. Also have only had to put down a deposit on half of my apts, the other half offered no deposit specials.

$10 a drink??? $7.50 a well shot at a college bar!? Thats highway robbery! Thankfully my Central Fl bars are reasonably priced or I’d be broke af.
