One I’ve realized that’s important, is whether you’re a planner or like things spontaneous. My bf loves everything spontaneous, but once he realized I like having at least a shell of a plan (especially with vacations), he makes an effort to plan at least half, and the rest we just wing.
Agreed, I just do it at my regular checkups because it’s free and the doctor always suggests it as a routine thing even if there’s no reason you’d have one.
My to do lists mostly consist of things to research instead of working. “Inception of the 401k, deductibles for Medicare, is joe Flacco elite” was today’s…
Personally for me, I don’t like keeping them around because they tend to complicate future relationships. I have enough friends, I don’t need exes taking up mental space.
Managed to completely avoid this convo with my SO. He just randomly started introducing me as his girlfriend one day and I was okay with it. I hate the dtr conversations…
This made my day. The honesty part is one I’m working on too, especially in the sense of admitting when you’re not A-okay instead of always saying you’re good/fine.
My best friend’s wedding was a Persian wedding. Half the music sounded like the closing song to slum dog millionaire and it was electric to dance to. Also got all the old Persian relatives up and dancing, which was unforgettable….
Free booze/steak tonight at my grad school banquet, wine festival tomorrow, and steaks grilled by dad on Sunday. Fully anticipating the meat sweats Monday morning, with zero regrets.
Sending good thoughts your way, and while I somewhat can relate to your situation, it’s never easy to talk about. Hence why I try to remind others to refrain from asking the “when are you having kids” question since you never know the background.
My two cents- I went to therapy for years, and never did my therapist finish my sentence or ask that many questions. Her trick was to stay quiet long enough for me to figure some things out by rambling. The goal was for me to find the answers myself a lot of the time. That being said, still entertaining read and i think it’s obvious it’s fictional, and for fun.
This show turned out amazing. Very timely which adds to the excitement. Binged in one day like the sloth I am.

I’ll only do small plates dining if they’re running an unlimited deal for set price (cava for brunch, ambar for dinner)
Any suggestions for apps to download? I’m always curious what the new fun way to procrastinate my work will be.

Cava. El centro if I’m feeling trashy.

Fighting a raging hangover after celebrating in dc last night. Plans are to binge some Netflix and hopefully eat something other than crackers
I’m more concerned with obtaining access to a boat this summer.
V excited for staircase. True crime doc series addict.

Imagine if Miami had been suggested…
Currently have a box of ho ho’s in my desk. If I had zebra cakes too I’d be unstoppable.

Am I the only one who doesn’t much care about whether or not I get married in life?
