I did Poli Sci too, and I’ve been looking at sales roles. I think it’s a great skill to have (talking/communicating with people) and who knows, maybe I’ll find something I like along the way
As someone currently in that Postgrad Dark Time, this is refreshing and great to hear. I’m currently stuck in a role that I hate with all the fiber of my being and am desperately applying to jobs, and endlessly tweaking my resume. At the same time, I get to watch my friends at the big banks make a killing, and seem to have a set career path of what they want to do. Thanks NardDog, looking to get where you are soon.
I’m Team Morning Shower, but thinking about making the move to Team Two Showers.
For all you night bathers that don’t shower in the morning, you are going 7-8 hours without showering BEFORE work. By 5PM you’re bordering on a full day without bathing, and your still around people. This is what makes public transportation rides home unbearable.
I’ve found that even when I have Monday off, Sunday is still the scariest day of the week. I’m like one of Pavlov’s dogs that as soon as I watch football for 6 hours, hear the 60 minutes clock, and watch all my Sunday shows, I am a trainwreck. Give me Friday off.
Careful with New York though, as someone who’s lived here for a little bit, its a roller coaster. When its good, nothing else compares to it, but when it sucks its the goddamn worst.
Looks like I’m asking for a pair of Pit Vipers for Christmas.
I am irrationally excited about Top Gun 2

“Yes but thats not going to stop you from asking, right?”
The Sunday Scaries from that weekend probably would have been the death of me.
And then your answer is “Because this place makes me that way” PGP
Friendsgiving is going to be such a good read. Could be his magnum opis.
As much as I loved having one in high school, if I saw someone still using an LG enV I’d want to fight them too.

This inspired me. I’m making an appointment for next weekend.
Would. And an infinity pool with a golf course in the background? Would x2.
Hank: Sorry its not in packages. Want some cream?
Homer: Uhhhhhh….no.
No I think it reminded me how much I hate my job, because I picked the wrong career path and I will never be able to do this.
