Philosophy geek take: I would argue that Right and Wrong is subordinate to Good and Bad. Right and Wrong implies “correct and incorrect”, while Good and Bad are “truths”. Therefore you should not have left something Good (which is also True) because it is Wrong (incorrect, inappropriate, harmful).
Layman’s terms: you left something because you just weren’t that into it – which is totally the right move, even though it’s a huge bummer.
Monday: diagnosed with gout. JO and cry to Wilco’s Mermaid Avenue album. Steam a Trader Joe’s tamale and pull a duppio espresso before reading a few chapters of Jane Eyre with a cigaratte on my balcony.
