Gotta poke one hole in your story: I have yet to meet a liberal accountant. Granted, I’m from Texas, so there’s not a ton to start with, but still. Haven’t met one yet.
Summer outdoor concerts in Texas are a prime example of expectation management. If you go in knowing for a fact that you’ll leave with sweat coating whatever poor excuse for a shirt you decide to bring out, and you do your best to constantly be drinking, then you’ll have a lot better time. If you expect to be comfortable outside in Texas, you’re gonna have a bad time.
Oh, you mean that trade schools and actual skills have value too, and maybe we should think of that before paying for every dumb MOFO in the country to go to community college!?
To be fair, if you work in business casual office, the OCBD is clutch. I wouldn’t wear it with a suit, but it’s one of the most versatile shirts a guy can have in his closet, and can go from office to bar to dinner date.
Don’t diss the OCBD just because you’re stuck wearing suits.
Seriously guys, if this is going to become a bachelorette podcast I’m out. I can put up with an quick (less than 5 min) update, or a spinoff if y’all really want it (I won’t listen but go for it if you must), just get back to the postgrad topics and discussion.
You know, there was a time when busting your ass for 9 hours a day and then going home to your family and a beer was the definition of a good employee. I answer any pressing client emails and if a team needs my help I call back, but if I’m cooking dinner and you need me to do something that has no deadline and can wait until tomorrow, then it can wait until tomorrow.
Your takes are like a just-used K Cup – scorching hot garbage.
This may be the funniest thing on PGP in the last couple of weeks.

The CPA exam changes you, man.
JD’s main complaint is that its hot and hippy-infested. I thought this was common knowledge?
JDuda – care to address your opinion of the actual music?

Did anyone else suddenly have an urge for a full bodied cab sauv?
You can take the pasta away, but you’ll have to pry rice out of my cold, dead fingers.
A year ago I would have mentioned this same thing in a comment, but now its just par for the course.
Definitely surprised at the lack of ‘gram in this edition of TGDAG.
Don’t tell Mrs. FromAccounting, but I actually love some of the classes she’s dragged me to. They’re just hella expensive and I’m cheap.

Chill, you never answered my deep dish vs. thin crust question the other day on Twitter: who you got?
Just looked it up. Can confirm, SATX breakfast tacos are the bomb. Sorry, Austin, I love you but SA crushes the taco game.
It’s “tronc”, all lower case. Because millenials, I guess.
Speaking as someone in the apartment search stage of a relationship, I would be livid if Mrs. FromAccounting tried to give away a TV.

I haven’t read something that depressing since…what time did the Baylor report come out today?
