Can confirm. We’re getting ready to install a Da Vinci robot in our OR’s and it’s insane to see that thing perform on people. Looks like something out of a SciFi flick.
Lived in Western California last year and had some coworkers from Ventura who were saved from Wildfire Thomas. Not sure what’s more bizarre to see, the wildfire itself or the aftermath.
Fellow construction guy here and have never had an issue with cleanliness in our trailer bathrooms. Just don’t be that person that leaves the door open after finishing your business.
My roommate back in college bought a set of those “HD” rabbit ears so we could watch the Sunday NFL games for cheap. Can confirm those people are out there.
This really hit close to home. I’ve had to move around for work so keeping in touch with friends is really hard. The only times we get to see each other is for holidays back home and that’s getting harder with some of them getting married.
Is CMV still alive?
Can’t beat the classic frosty n fries combo.

Personally excited about the Ranch. It’s the show that keeps on giving with solid episodes.
“The Great British Baking Show: Holidays” already guaranteed to be pure gold.

On the Saturday grind myself Duda. Dedicating my post-work brew to you.

Staying in with the dog, football, and a pack of Miller sounds like a fantastic weekend to me.
That stock photo is making me crave a Mexican Coke…

Thanks for the thoughts Madoff.
Can confirm TB Cantina is a late-night blessing and a curse. Hang in there today Duda.
You must be a single digit Victory Royale guy. Winning/losing does have meaning.
Big fan of Gladwell and Planet Money. Hidden Brain and How I Built This are some other favorite NPR pods worth listening to.
I’m sorry but that doesn’t sound like the ideal 25th birthday…
The coffee ritual is one of my favorite parts of the weekends. Toss in a little Chemex action to the mix and you’ve got it made.
There was just something about those rectangle pizzas with the obviously fake cubes of pepperoni that did it for me.
