I am with you on the identity thing. 2 or 3 years ago I liked who I was as a person much more, I think I was an overall better person when it came to the important qualities you look for in someone. Honestly what I sum it up to is cynicism and the older we get the more we learn. No matter what way you slice it this world is not all sunshine and rainbows and as time passes it made me very cynical. its something I stay aware of at least and try to work at it but at the end of the day I am more miserable than I was a few years ago.
Why is owning a home such a ego stroke for people. My parents have their house paid of and their taxes they pay on something they “own” costs them more than I pay in rent…….
I feel like staying in on Friday only serves a purpose if you commit to staying in Saturday as well otherwise you totally wipe out anything you gained if you go out Saturday.
