Does anyone have a good dog breed for: 1) A single guy 2) Lives in an apartment 3) Not an English bulldog? I don’t want get lab/golden/gs etc. because I don’t have a lawn but I don’t want a “purse dog” either. Any suggestions?
A typical OB/GYN pays ~30k/year in malpractice insurance, that obviously not insignificant…don’t go to med school “for the money”. IB/PE/HF and corporate lawyers have a much higher income potential than even neurosurgeons with considerably less work. The only reason you should go to med school if you can’t see yourself being happy in any other profession.
And girls like the idea of marrying a doctor, not actually marrying a doctor. They rebuke the idea when they realize their SO is swimming in debt until they’re 40 and have no free time.
Doctors don’t typically start making doctor money until well into their 30s when that 250k loan has already turned into 400k. With reimbursements rates being cut across the board, you’re typically not going to make “ridiculously high incomes” until late 30s to early 40s when those loans are paid off. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad life but that 25 year old med student isn’t going to be rich for a long time.
“It could be cigarettes, dip, painkillers, or maybe even porn.”
Porn. Definitely porn.
But seriously, for me it’s been sports gambling. I’ve gambled away a significant amount of money over the past two years to the point where it’s affecting the rest of my financial life. I’ve gotten better about in the past few months but it’s definitely not an easy habit to kick.
Wait I’m confused by one thing: If you’re married, making 225k+ and your spouse is a stay-at-home mom/dad, your income would be taxed at 33%…but if you get a divorce, you would be taxed at 16.5% on the same amount of income? Can one of the CPAs on the message board explain how that makes sense?
I’M NOT CRYING YOU’RE CRYING
Classic grandma.
I dont think I’ve hate-loved anything more than TGDAG.

Unless you’re a hot girl. Then I want to talk to you. But you probably don’t want to talk to me.
Kate McKinnon’s rendition of “Hallelujah” was hauntingly beautiful.
For everyone who’s college is out of contention of the CFP…I’m all in on Team Chaos in college football.
