Some of the squad had their fun at ACL last weekend, but this is my weekend. Three-day ACL wristband and zero obligations. I’m going to miss living walking distance from Zilker Park so I have to soak this shit up one final time. Paul McCartney is the headliner tonight. Should be fun.

29th birthday on Saturday. Going up to Milwaukee with family and friends to try a few breweries and watch the Brewers and Badgers games. Going to eat as many cheese curds as possible.

First weekend off after working 20 days straight. Taking this 200 hour check, break up with my girlfriend, and spent it all on liquor and strippers.
Hopefully two strippers at the same time.
30th bday today. Birthday party in the burbs for some 1 yr old kid, at least theres booze and college football on. New steakhouse saturday night. Crockpot it up on sunday and watch way too much NFL.

My roommate and I found out our apartment complex will let us use our Traeger smoker on our balcony (we live in a very upscale area with tons of shopping around us). You better believe we’ll be smokin dem meats all weekend long. I can’t wait to see the shoppers (mainly middle-aged rich white housewives on their 2nd bottle of Pinot of the morning) to look up at us and be jealous
Going camping this weekend, I’ll be listening to the games on the radio. Go Stros!

Michelle Wolf standup at a small comedy club tonight, parents in town for the weekend so I’m taking them to the Avs/Flames game, then fiancee’s parents getting to town Tuesday and meeting mine for the first time. Wish me luck.

Serious question. Is this a real thing? Like the parents having to/should meet beforehand? I don’t think ours will meet until the wedding.
It’s pretty common and if your parents are nightmares it’s probably good to have them meet and learn how to make them get along prior to the wedding. Hers are normal and mine are normal and super nice if a bit less polished, so I’m not worried.
Good point. I think both parties are very easy going and laid back so probably a non-issue but you never know.
I guess I just assumed that they’d cross paths at some point but then again I live 1200 miles away from my family so they wouldn’t really meet unless one or the other came out to visit.
Hers live in Shaker Heights, OH, mine live in BFE Kansas three hours from the nearest major airport. Difficult to coordinate. And LOL, we are fortunately going to Michelle Wolf by ourselves since I got the tickets a long time ago and they’re sold out, I don’t think it’s my parents’ bag.
V exciting weekend ahead. Headed up to Austin for the first time. Gonna hit up the Longhorns game on Saturday and explore the city. Hook em.
Watching the Stros take the first two from the sox, hit the beach, and gamble on some sports. Y’all be safe.
Everybody and their mama decided to head out of town this week so it’ll be a solo one. Probably spend it watching sports, gambling money I don’t have, and just in general a chill weekend. Finally felt a little chilly this morning in NC, back up to 80s though. Such a tease.
Also just downloaded Bumble, so I guess I’ll be giving this a shot.
