I didn’t do a TWIF last week and I apologize for that, BUT I won’t be blamed for it. I attempted to write it several times but WordPress was being glitchy af and kept deleting all my text and coding. It was frustrating and I didn’t even get to tell you all about my three-day weekend in fun (it didn’t end up being that fun).
I’m trying to rally the crew tonight because I decided a couple hours ago that I’ll be getting annihilated. I really need the squad to pull through for me. Saturday coooould be a ranch day with my family, unless….
Broken record time: Golf is in preliminary discussions for Saturday or Sunday. We shall see. It probably won’t happen because it usually doesn’t.

Hitting up something called emo nite where they play nothing but punk music then finally getting a free night tomorrow. Might fuck with some brunch though, I need avocado toast more than I need a house.
I’ve heard great things about emo night. Lean into it, and let us know how it goes.
A friend of mine went to one of those and she had a blast. Give us an update on how it is
I feel like “emo” music from the 90’s and 00’s was just regular music at that time, everybody listened to it. Hell I still listen to it when the occasion strikes. Fallout boy, Taking back Sunday, AFI, etc. are all still around after all.
Update: I didn’t go. I ended up going to a birthday party. It was going to be my third one though, so I consider myself an expert. When you get the chance, GO.
Just finished a client meeting where my mouth was still numb (I’d taken a taste of the nose beers I just picked up at my dealers house). Hitting up the first day of a festival now to see g-eazy & Wiz, neither of which I’ve seen before. S’coooooooo

Started my first job post grad on Tuesday. Leaving for Boston on Sunday for an Energy Conference. Lots of boondoggling planned for this trip and I couldn’t be more excited
Got my offer letter today, buddy is coming into town from Chicago, and I’m seeing Jack Johnson tomorrow night in Cuyahoga Falls.

Seeing Bassnectar and Pretty Lights tomorrow and going to the Braves/Reds game on Sunday, for the first time in a long time I may have a genuinely fun weekend.

Had a great beach trip last weekend, this weekend is the first one in a long time where I have no plans, and nowhere to be. Plan to knock a few back and enjoy it. Might mow the lawn.
Crushed a first round interview for this fellowship/job today so spirits are high. Going into Hoboken tonight for a few drinks. Tomorrow I’m helping out with a campaign I’m sort of working for. Then it’s anyone’s guess, maybe a beach day if the weather is nice.
Update: meeting a tinder match for drinks tomorrow. Shaping up to be a real solid weekend.
