For the past couple of months, I’ve brought you the best of everyone’s Panic Rooms – their habitats that they’ve set up to lessen their Sunday Scaries and heighten their mental game. We’re talking scented candles, playlists, oversized t-shirts, and elastic waistbands galore.
But this week, we have ourselves a special Sunday – The Super Bowl. The ultimate “calories don’t count” day of the year where Scaries don’t exist until you get in bed and set your alarm for the next day. Or, you know, unless your team loses.
This week, in place of Panic Room breakdowns, I want to see your best Super Bowl spreads. I’m talking buffalo chicken dips, charcuterie boards, full fridges of beer – the works.
Me? I’ve got some leftover crockpot pork that I’m going to parlay with some plantain chips for nachos, all washed down with whatever beer I can find in our beer fridge. For dessert, I’ll be having a large shot of Pepto Bismol and some Zzquil to make sure I pass out and don’t hate myself come tomorrow morning at work.
