News just broke that Justin Verlander lost in the American League Cy Young voting to former teammate Rick Porcello despite Verlander getting more first place votes. Sounds like there’s some funny business going on if you ask me. Well, and if you ask Justin Verlander’s fiancee Kate Upton as well as evidenced by her Twitter rampage that ensued shortly thereafter the results were announced.
Might want to use the right “you’re” there, but damn, that’s ride or die.
Justin Verlander had lobbied for himself to win the award as well, and his little brother Ben also took to Twitter to post a damning chart that shows Verlander kiiiind of deserved it.
And as a Tigers fan and the person who leaked Kate Upton’s first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, I’ll have to agree with all the parties involved. .
