“Believe in your fucking self”: That’s apparently what Apple’s Senior Vice President of Design Jony Ive looks at every time he steps into his office. The New Yorker profiled the industrial designer and apparent power move enthusiast, noting that in addition to a Banksy print of the queen with the face of a chimpanzee, Ive’s office features a poster that begins, “Believe in your fucking self. Stay up all fucking night,” and ends, many admonitions later, “Think about all the fucking possibilities.”
That’s intense. Finding motivation through a slew of F-bombs is a sign of a true alpha male. The poster was designed by the people at Good Fucking Design Advice, which makes sense, and you can buy one for $30 on its site.
I’ll be picking one up myself. It’s time to take things up a notch..
