Buzzfeed reported that Indian woman Karishma Walia’s family had been planning her arranged marriage when she halted everything because of the dealbreaker of all dealbreakers – dude doesn’t even like dogs. In an act of defiance, she explained, “He would say things like ‘family should be a priority and not career.’ I gave up when he commented about my dog. I don’t know why my family still thinks he’s an eligible bachelor.”
Screw your feelings about arranged marriages in the first place, but arranged marriages with dudes who don’t like man’s best friend? Nah, I think we can all agree that it’s better to remain single forever rather than put up with this type of behavior.

I once had a guy call me out for being more affectionate towards my dog than towards him. I told him that when he moves across 4 state lines with me and never hurts my heart, I’d consider them even. Team Dog.
