We walked into a dark studio. “Where’s Producer Micah?” someone asked.
“Not sure,” someone else answered. “Let me text him, we’ve gotta get this podcast in before lunch.”
Minute later, we found out that Producer Micah had taken off for Columbia, Missouri to watch the much-maligned Mizzou Tigers engage in their first game of the NCAA season. So what did we do? We did what any content-first thinkers would do: we made it work. Taking to Periscope rather than iTunes, we recorded (almost) a full episode of Touching Base that could only be watched on Twitter or Periscope. Luckily, you can watch it below before it expires. Enjoy, and pardon the mess that it turned out to be.

Not sure about others, but I really liked the live commenting Periscope allows. Could be an interesting change up to throw at us more often, even just a short 20 minute segment or something like this one is a cool look behind the curtain.
I don’t disagree. Need a better way for us to see the comments, but I’ll leave that to producer Micah.
