About to be a groomswoman and I’m not that close with the bride. I like her and am thrilled to be a part of the wedding but thanks to long distance friendships, we haven’t spent a ton of time together. I would happily stand with the rest of the bridesmaids if that’s what they wanted, but it feels really great to be able to stand by my best guy friend on his big day.
Amazing. I honestly thought about your original therapy post when I started going a few months ago, and I haven’t looked back since. It feels so much better to be able to talk about the out of control negative thought spirals with someone that doesn’t immediately tell you to chill out. Thanks for sharing your mental health with this corner of the internet!
THIS. I used to get so much crap for not giving guys a chance because “how much do you REALLY know about them after only a couple dates?” Garbage. If you’re not feeling it, no point in wasting anyone’s time.
I relate to this on a deep level. I love what I do, but it’s really hard not to walk into work some days and think, “What fresh hell awaits me today?” This was a reassuring read, Madoff.
YES. Season 5 is one of the best: Jan’s baby shower (Astird), Frame Toby, Moroccan Christmas, THE DUEL, The Roast of Michael Scott, the Golden Ticket idea, the Michael Scott Paper Company, Kevin’s Famous Chili, Cafe Disco… does it get better than that?
Welcoming the down votes now, but I wasn’t blown away by In the Woods. It was too drawn out to be a page-turner for me. It seems like a lot of people really loved it so maybe I missed something, but I don’t remember liking it that much.
You don’t need to play hockey to get it. Sure, that definitely increases appreciation for any sport, but it’s not a necessity. Besides some half-assed street roller hockey with my brothers, I’ve never played hockey and yet it’s the only sport I regularly follow.
Preach. I had a boss at my old university office jobs that was amazed IT would help me out so much and then barely lift a pencil for her. It pays to be nice to IT, friends.
*The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

House of Leaves. You’ll get weird looks reading it in public when you eventually have to turn the entire book upside down, but it’s worth it.
Carcassonne, anyone?
Aw shucks, thanks red!

As if he didn’t already give me serious serial-killer vibes, that comment alone solidified it.
If I wasn’t taken, I’d be shooting a “Sup?” your way right now. Zelda and Mario Kart are my jams.

Go Preds!

It’s so good. I can’t wait to force it on everyone I know.
Like having your screen name end in 69? I swear my birthday is June 9th.
Throwing away a parking ticket is a total Girl move and I hate her for it.
Flying solo in the lab today, so I’m cranking the tunes and getting shit done.
I can’t handle all these new seasons of GoT coming out with no sign of a new book. Anyone else anxious about this? Just me? Cool.
