It depends on how much you want to spend. If you don’t want to spend much just go with a bright colored shirt with a blazer. Or if you want to go all out I always like seer sucker jackets. The more colorful the better.
You can’t really go wrong because there will always be someone else who looks more ridiculous than you.
I’ve only worked in one office since I’ve graduated, so maybe I’ve just been naive, but do most offices actually have more than just coffee and the occasional snack/meal?
We also have alcohol, but that’s only because we’re a liquor supplier.
Headed back to my alma mater(sorry Will). Since it’s finally above 60 degrees in Indiana I’m planning on doing a lot of patio drinking. Look for a worst weekend story on Monday.
Going to the distillery below the office this afternoon since our intern just turned 21. Then I’m taking the pup on a little road trip to Lexington this weekend. Going to try to win some money at Keeneland on Saturday (even though it’s supposed to snow), so I’ll be drinking like I’m in college again to keep warm. Should be interesting.
I agree! I went to a Chris Stapleton concert a few months ago with friends, but my seat wasnt close to them, so I was by myself for most of the concert and I still had the time of my life.
Why are people still getting dogs with their significant others? Unless you’re engaged/married I feel like you’re just asking for a weird situation if you break up(no offense Will).
Yeah and if I can’t, I’m lucky and have a lot of people that help me with her if I can’t make it home to let her out. If you get an older dog, or even just an older puppy, they should be fine while you’re at work.
Definitely don’t get a super young puppy though because they physically can’t hold it that long, which makes house training that much harder.
Like Dillon said, don’t get a dog until you have a steady income and the time to spend with them. Coming from someone with a 3 month old pup, your schedule will revolve around them for a little bit, so if you want to have a normal college social life you probably shouldn’t get a dog.
On a side note: having a little pup that’s always happy to see you when you get home and thinks you’re the best thing ever is pretty awesome, so if you’re ready, go for it!
I feel like that’s definitely less weird than dating someone with the same name as one of your parents or siblings, but I’ve never been in either situation so idk
I read some of them while I was in high school as well (and reread them multiple times since), but I think high school is probably the limit. If a 25 year old tried to read them for the first time, I don’t think it would have the same effect.
Any Columbus people have any suggestions for restaurants/bars to go to on a Thursday night? Going for a couple days for work and trying to put my corporate card to good use.
A lot of locals go to Oaks instead because it’s slighty less crowded, but it’s just as fun as Derby. I wouldn’t say it’s more relaxed though.
You dress the same as Derby, but you’re supposed to wear something pink for breast cancer awareness.
Mint juleps are trash. The only reason to get one is for the glass. Do yourself a favor and get a Lily instead.
I always focus on drinking at Keeneland instead of gambling. That way I’m still losing money since drinks are $9, but atleast I’m drunk when I leave.

Same. It’s good, healthy, and cheap. What more can you ask for?

Slowly realizing all of these thanks to my 3 month old golden retriever…I feel like I have a toddler

This hurts me to read.
But I want more details on what you used because I’ve tried and failed at this many times.

Might go up to Indy to watch some basketball or I might get a puppy. Either way I’m happy
Before you got married.
What. The. Fuck. Will.
