Just signed a contract for a job I’ve been interviewing for since January. Celebrating with the wife and some friends, hopefully followed by “you know” later tonight.
You’re local Girl Scout probably changed bakers. There are two companies that make Girl Scout cookies and both are pretty similar, but there is definitely a difference in a few of the cookies, and also why you see Caramel Delights vs. Samoas.

My friends have paid for the bachelor and all travel/lodging up front, but nothing else. I’m curious how this works with meals/bar tabs. Does the guy who collected the money tell everyone what they can spend at a certain bar/restaurant? Just seems a lot easier to pay for food/entertainment at the bachelor party itself.
What I realized when I got married is that it’s as much, if not more, about your parents showing off to family and friends. “My child grew up and is getting married, everyone look” is how weddings get to be over the top. Wife and I tried to keep guest list to 100, but we just got tired of arguing about distance relatives and ended up with 200. The key for us was we made it very clear we weren’t going out of our way to talk to people we hadn’t seen in 15 years.
Tell your boy. Better to know now than when they’re married with 2 kids and he catches the early flight home from San Diego, and walks in and a couple of people jump out of the bathroom, blindfolded, like a god damn magic show ready to double team her.

Maybe instead of $1000 to $5000 a day for your special guests you should lower it to like $500. Keep a little extra cash in your pocket.
Got married in November, can confirm.
