I feel the exact same way, especially trying to meet a compliance deadline doesn’t help, so I haven’t even gotten the break from things slowing down in December
Not weird at all. I’ve hung out with my coworkers for work functions (and lunch). But, I don’t know if I would hang out with them independent of the company and especially once I change jobs.
I’m lucky that my office has an office bathroom and one right down the hall. You should see if you can work from home a couple times a week, you’ll at least get some relief
Time to look for a new job. It’s understandable that you were unemployed so you took the first thing that came along.
Yup, they remind me we’re now in the worst month of the year
I’ve heard of a thank you note for wedding gifts, this is the first I’ve heard about it for Christmas
You should’ve asked to start after the New Year, and said you’re waiting for a bonus to be paid out or have a vacation already planned.
No, I got to work with no traffic and I’m not being expected to do much
That’s why I pick thanksgiving as the time to go home, it’s not great but not as horrible as traveling around Christmas time
Ideally, I’d agree with this. Unfortunately, there’ll be very few people you’ll still talk to after you no longer work together.
You should’ve also added, “We’ll probably never talk to each other again until one of us needs a favor”

Ghosting is shitty from both ends, when I take time off of work to interview with your company, you at least owe me an automated response
Buy tickets to something you can both do together
Your lucky your parents will let you sleep in and do nothing. My mom and dadwill ask me to help them clean out the basement when I’m home
I wish I worked for your company. When I worked somewhere with snow, we were told we have to come in or take a personal day
Come to California, it’s expensive but worth every penny!

This bitch actually seems worse than Girl

You’re lucky the slow workflow started this early, the first half of this month is crazy for me, then hopefully slowing down after next week.
I’ve always heard it’s not good for anybody. My dog has her own bed, but sleeps in the bedroom too.
Clarifying question – Is this a delay on the plane and you can’t take off, or are you in the airport for the delay?
