I’ve cut alcohol down to 1 day a week (typically Fri), and I feel amazing. I have a feeling I’ll falter a lot during the summer, but still, Mon-Thur will still be off limits. Can’t even describe how much more tolerable Monday’s are when I don’t have crippling dehydration courtesy of a “Sunday Funday.” Also losing weight. Mentally and physically, drinking just takes such a toll.
Same. The town isn’t so much a college town, as a town with a college in it. So I just stayed. Always the assumption that I have 10 open couches the 3-4 times a year there’s an alumni event. Better yet, they all ask me how the chapter is doing. I’m like, “I’m 30, how the fuck should I know?”
Coyote Ugly was a real bar until a few years ago.
Bada Bing is a real titty bar in Lodi, NJ except in real life it’s called Satin Dolls (I’ve been).
Cheers is also a real bar, was called Bull & Finch but the owners cashed in and just renamed it Cheers.
I love baseball, the NHL is exciting as hell, but sorry, England does sports better than us. Our sports are just games, a football match in England is like a religious experience. Studied in South Kensington for a while and used to walk to Stamford Bridge, fell in love with the game. Chelsea had a dumpster fire of a season, but that’ll happen, I’m just thrilled they were able to prevent Spurs from winning, because that would have been too much. Good for Leicester and their supporters.
I still wear jerseys but I take this into account by A) only wearing them to the actual sporting event or a bar I’ve gone to for the express purpose of watching a sporting event, and B) I get customized jerseys and go with retired legends names/numbers. Love my Mets Straw jersey and I’ll never stop wearing it.
I switched from the Jets to the Giants this season. My family are Jets fans, but my local bar is all Giants. Basically, someone at the bar always has extra, usually steeply discounted if not free Giants tickets. So I made the switch. That said, I am not a huge NFL fan as is, so it’s not like I was anywhere close to a die hard Jets fan. I could’ve named the QB and coach, that’s about it. I already probably know a bit more about the Giants.
I thought nothing was easy in northeast Ohio
I feel that those emails from that guy and his girlfriend who clearly wants your dick was way more aggressive.
LIRR? You have it easy. Try NJ Transit if you really want some Lord of the Flies commuting.
Seinfeld Night at MCU Park in Brooklyn (home of the Mets affiliate Cyclones), one of my favorite sporting events of the year.
Dogs > Kids

Seven? Okay Costanza
The real winners are landlords with places walking distance from 6th.
One of the best shows on TV. Dude has the best life, just eats great food and drinks excessively across the globe.
Will, did you jump on the LC bandwagon or did you support someone prior?
Actually my first thought too. Or any Philly sporting event.

Copying and pasting from Reddit: TSteveHoltM. You’re better than this DeFries.
90’s era Champion brand NBA jerseys are the perfect mid summer BBQ attire.
To me there’s no hotter foreplay ensemble than a girl wearing your favorite team’s jersey and nothing else.

Eh, Eli’s have been a mixed bag for the Giants
