less than $100k, more than $65k. Why the hate? I’m just trying to do the best I can for my financial future. My emergency fund is lacking. I also have a duplex where both sides are rented, so multiple streams of income and it pays for the mortgage (3.25%)
That’s some way to go out. I feel the mistake was inviting the guy recently released from prison considering he was the one who called “an unknown associate” for the sawed-off.
15% of salary to 401k, max out Roth IRA every year, have a couple of funds you contribute to regularly that can be used for mid-life events (marriage, house), aggressively pay off debts, have an emergency funds with 3-6 months expenses, and live within your means. It’s not hard in theory, just in practice. Your Money Your Life fb group through NPR is decent.
Recently out of a 2 year relationship (1 year living together). After the first year, we were both confident about our relationship going the long haul and we both wanted to cohabitate prior to marriage. We had no problems in the year living together and, for me, it is necessary before engagement. She also voiced she wanted to live with the person she would marry prior to. Really sucks to mutually end a relationship due to outside (family) factors and not due to your own relationship.
Same goes for getting to the office early. I get in an hour before anyone starts to show up – ease into the day and work without distraction. Also, I don’t feel bad if I want to leave early
Rec sports leagues, classes – baking/cooking, art, whatever you’re into there’s probably a group class related to it, hang out at a bar that is your “home team’s”. Any place where you could meet someone with similar interests is a good start. It’s tough finding friends as a post grad in a city far from home, good luck out there.
See point 1.
double entendre?
I think that is stalking? Maybe? Weird and creepy for sure.
Halloween is the best holiday for illicit substances.

Dated 2 years, lived together 1 of those years. Had the ring, ready to bend the knee and now I live alone in a tiny apartment. Oops.
My parents dated for 5+ years as well but, divorced after 20 years of marriage.

Congrats on the pity sex?
This! Great take! Don’t forget to adorn your beer fridges with lots of stickers, really gives it the chill vibe.
Got the basement small fridge covered in stickers and now am working on the full sized garage fridge, it’s a work in progress.
