I was not happy with the ending, but I watched it again and, although I was still a little disappointed, it was the right ending. They rushed the events in the finale to make it a one hour episode, but it was the right way to end it. Robin and Ted were always meant to end up together. HIMYM accurately reflected the ins and outs of life. Shit happens and life never has a storybook/Hollywood ending.
