Normally PGP is a source of humor and satire. However, I would like to honestly and genuinely thank you for being a working mom. My mother worked full time growing up and the older I get, the more I appreciate what she did for the family.
Bravo DeFries on another great column in this series.
Take a drink when…
-She hashtags in a text message
-Unnecessarily uses the work “Like”
-Uses an abbreviation
-Adds extra, unnecessary letters (ie Soooonnnn)
-References instagram
Also, does Todd ever text back or is this just an animated conversation with herself?
If you’re staying in Detroit proper, check out Greektown (the actual neighborhood, not the casino). The food is fantastic, as is the culture. Walking around Campus Martius when its nice out is fun too. Have fun!
I had to google Hufflepuff…
“Hufflepuff is the most inclusive among the four houses; valuing hard work, patience, loyalty, and fair play rather than a particular aptitude in its members.”
Given you referenced Grosse Pointe, I’m guessing you live in Detroit. Honestly, I’m shocked that anybody will voluntarily live in Detroit. But hey, you do you.
Fair enough. My other suggestion for an article would be starting a mommy blog after some dude-bro she brings home from the bar knocks her up. She can pretentiously discuss the merits of designer cloth diapers and the best stroller there.

2019-Freshmen
2020-8th graders
I see her as more likely to start an etsy store than buying a fixer upper.
Nice thought, but I don’t see her as the type of person doing manual labor
And…
Bring back casual Friday!
“Oh that? Friend from school/church/family…”
Let me guess, this girl is besties with a girl who just bought a new dog, is a Pure Barree instructor, and is a self-proclaimed foodie.
Hey buddy!

Yeah, sounds pretty spot on.
