I forgot where I read this (might have been on this site), but it said that it’s a lot easier if the two of you were friends before being romantically involved. Made a lot of sense since you’re able to remember the role they played in your life before they were your significant other.
I definitely feel the same way. Currently I live in the city where I grew up and went to college not too far from, so I have a good mix of high school and college friends that I regularly get to hang out with. Lately I’ve been getting an itch to move out west, but I’m worried that if I do it’ll be difficult to find a new group of friends while simultaneously losing my connection with the ones I have here
I’ll use the Cubs as an example. Im a die hard Cubs fan, and it was fun having people connected to Chicago who weren’t big fans before along for the ride. It probably didn’t mean as much to them, but it still made them genuinely excited which is great. Some even continued following through this year which is even better. Being fairweather is fine as long as you don’t try to pass yourself off as something more
I think parque guell, la sagrada familia, and the gothic quarter are the can’t misses. If you have enough time to go clubbing you have to check out opium or one of the other clubs that are right on the beach.
I recommend doing a bike tour of Barcelona for one of the first things you do there. It’s a great way to orient yourself with the city and have a general idea of where you want to go back to. The tour is technically free but you’re expected to tip the guide 15-20 euro
The worst couples are the ones that make an anniversary post for anything less than a year. I noticed that couples who do this usually don’t make it to that point
My office has mandatory 8am meetings on Mondays so unfortunately I can’t relate
Was going to ask if you guys are hiring until I saw that last part

A coffee and donut once in a while is a great way to start the day, but it shouldn’t be someone’s regular breakfast routine
Go on YouTube and search “malort commercial”. I feel like that sums it up pretty well
It’s better than not doing it
This is the best thing I’ve ever heard

Pretty sure most places let you defer for a year
Way to early for this much anxiety
He should be forced to become a Mets fan as punishment

I would bet all the money I have that he doesn’t take this advice

I’ve lived in the Midwest my entire life, and I’d kill to have a decent hiking place within driving distance

Depends on how attractive you are
Interesting. Usually if I don’t have anything all I can think about during the morning is lunch
Also an empty stomach makes the 4-5 hours of work before lunch even more unbearable
