Let’s ask the Catholic Church how they feel about this one….according to their spokes person they loved what they saw and want to reach out in person but in a private consultation.
Hate to break it you but we aren’t the best country anymore and haven’t been for quite some time. Yeah we have “freedoms” but those are slowly eroding away. We aren’t even ranked in the top 10% in education anymore and we have a terrible infrastructure system compared to other countries. We do rank #1 in military and defense spending, in fact we spend more on that than the entire GDP of 26 other countries combined and in order to keep up with the demand of global imperialism, it makes sense that we always have to find some place to fuck with. So let’s stop patting ourselves on the back because being the best country in the world on this planet is seeming to be a lot like being the least Cenile person in a retirement home. ee aren’t the generation that fucked this up in fact we are the generation that is forced to clean up after previous generations mishaps. Oh and the whole God thing, why would Madoff have to show you respect when the guy in the sky has been asleep on the job for thousands of years. It’s cool though because America is God’s favorite country it even says so on all of our money which is now in short supply.
You could have just said no and came to a mutual partnership that doesn’t require all the over priced stuff and wasting a bunch of people’s weekend to see you say “I do” to something that now has a 60% failure rate. think of all the other cool shit you could do with that money and your life if you just stopped thinking of getting old with someone on a porch swing. Chances are one of you is going to out live the other and then one of you will be sitting in a wheel chair in a nursing home playing bingo and reminiscing about all the fun times you had before you decided to get married.
With all the work moms in my office I get fed better than I ever have in my life. I also get to hear good life advice from people who have been through some shit. What I’ve basically learned is that it’s not fun to get married and having kids seems like a terrible idea especially now and also, most people don’t like left overs.
I’m just waiting for the inevitable automation of most jobs and for capitalism and the economy to implode on itself where we won’t really need as many people anymore. But for real though if you want a work life balance you can always live out of a van and freelance your way out of the middle class at least you’ll see some cool shit and meet some cool people. There’s nothing wrong with not making it to retirement age I mean your employer/health provider is slowly encouraging that.
Or you can keep working 90 hour weeks and be able to play some golf everyday later in life before your body shuts down.

I was being sarcastic man. Although I agree with what you’re saying, you can’t just lump an entire generation into one facet of a stereotype. There are kids everywhere who have engineering degrees or finance degrees who work at good companies and make decent salaries who still can’t afford to progress their lives never mind afford basic things because of soaring interest rates and a principal balance that barely gets chipped away each month not to mention the increased cost of living. Just because I speak the truth of the matter doesn’t make me a complainer who is doing nothing about it. The middle class kids get pinched because they don’t get financial aid but they also don’t have enough money to cover the increasing costs of college each semester so loans are the only option. I would have loved to do a trade if I could do it all over again but I didn’t. When you find out that nearly 70% of the money we spend toward our loans gets allocated to the defense and military spending then yeah it starts to make a little more sense as to why things are the way they are. I mean let’s be honest, there aren’t people sitting in the board rooms of Raytheon or General Atomics hoping that peace breaks out and proxy wars stop overseas. If all that money we fork over actually went back into education then we wouldn’t have an education problem in the first place.
So youre going to say that to an entire generation? From your picture it looks like you’re casting into an empty pond. Maybe while you’re at it, you can cast out and reel in a relevant come back to the poorest generation on record with over $1 trillion in debt before they even invest in their first practical asset. It’s cool though I’ll let that one go. Catch and release of you will.
Sallie Mae is robbing an entire generation of having a life outside of work. Thanks For helping fund our little pieces of paper we got after 4 years of college Sallie. We love working 50 hours a week in a cubicle, only getting paid for 40 of them and then paying your huge interest rates let alone the principal balance each month that is the equivalent of a mortgage for a house with a “water view”. Eating out of Tuna cans or eating copious amounts of pasta is really fun while watching Netflix in our run down apartments outside of the city too. Hey, maybe if we get mercury poisoning from all that tuna we’ll be able to finally reach the deductible on our terrible employee health insurance plans to get a little bit of it covered. In the meantime, we’ll just save our dimes up to be able to go out once in awhile and drink to forget about everything. Hell, maybe we’ll blog about it or Instagram that shit to make everyone else feel like they’re missing out on something they’re already doing!
You could just switch to Meth like a responsible adult and not have to do drugs as much since you’ll be tweaking for a couple days after doing it once. You gotta be more economical with your drug use over there. By switching to Meth think of all the chemical companies that you’ll be supporting with your purchase which will stimulate the economy not to mention the guy making the stuff who is probably college educated and is just trying to pay back his debt. Plus by switching to Meth, you keep production and distribution in America without having to outsourced resources like you would with Coke. It’s not too late to switch to Meth, if you do just think of how productive you’ll be. Yeah you might lose some teeth along the way but who needs those when you don’t have to eat while tweaking out for a week straight.
Obviously sarcasm isn’t you’re thing. I’m sorry

I’m joking guys, don’t get sad about it

I pay $1,200 a month in loans and $600 a month in rent only because my land lord outright owns the house and gave my roommates and I a steep discount.
I’m right there with you dude. The good thing is that you are gaining equity by having your house and making your payments.
Haha thanks Caroline. We’re all in this together so it’s nice knowing that pretty much everyone can relate to something like this

This is true. Thanks man. It would be cheaper to Uber it from Boston to NYC than to park in Manhattan
I’ll actually be in Manhattan this weekend for some photography things. Can’t wait to take a mortgage out to be able to park
