You are flying like a rookie if you are not prepared for the potential of spending a day in the airport. Gotta have entertainment on lock in your carry on bag. It’ll suck losing out on that time at your destination, but it’s not the end of the world. I almost never travel with check in luggage, but when I do I’m fucked if I lose it.
I’m spending this Christmas alone and I’m so far kinda neutral about it. My parents will be down a few days later to help me move, so I just get to spend the day playing games and hashtag treating my self
