tbh cab drivers are the better play if you can just get one quick. yeah you pay a little more but they know the city better than anyone as they have almost always been doing it for longer than your uber or lyft has.
Unless it’s some sort of medical issue, you’re in a better position to get the body you want if you’re naturally thin as opposed to overweight imo. You can sculpt your body with the intention of gaining weight (you get to eat like crazy). It’s far harder to gain muscle and lose weight when you are overweight, not to mention the extra skin can be nearly impossible to get rid of (assuming you’re losing like 30+ pounds to get the body you want).
My advice is to eat a lot (but healthy!), and gradually build your workout. Focus on your form, learn how different muscle groups work together, and don’t be afraid to ask someone in the gym (personal trainers are great for that). Maintain light cardio, but remember the goal is to gain weight not lose it. And get your Zzz’s too, can’t expect to get huge with no sleep.
