It’s sad how accurate these are. I also never understood the romper. They look like shit, the word makes me angry and I imagine you have to take it completely off to take a shit or piss.
I had a kid on my time that would burst into tears when he would strike out. His dad was a military man and would make him do push ups when he’d get bad grades, strike out or anything like that. The worst parents are the ones that think their kid is good but he sucks. Youth sports politics are awful.
Old man golf is where it’s at. Caddied for 11 years and the old men always cleaned out the younger guys that out drove them by 50 yards. Always had the unorthodox swing but hit damn near every fairway. Also knew to take the quiet caddies that did it as a summer job rather than the loudmouth guys that were career caddies.
Born in the USA is not a patriotic song, it’s about coming home from the Vietnam War and having no job or life prospect…You also left off Neil Diamond’s “America”.
