To be honest, my soon to be wife is cool as fuck (you can ask Shibbs). I’d be hard to fully explain, but trust me, I get what you’re saying. Punting it away puts it in his court. I’ve tried everything in my power and didn’t get asked to be “Best Man” for nothing. I don’t really hold grudges, it’s just not worth the time right now to fight a wife/kids and a 50 hour work week.
My calls have gone unanswered many times. When the wife hates you, other fraternity members and your boy wants to settle down and play Mr. Dad with a woman that cheated on him, not much one can do. I have quite a few friends that are as you describe, some that live in Richmond, Philly, Colorado, Florida. Can’t win em all man.
