Bought a new car so I was cleaning out the old one that I’d had since I was 16. Found a bunch of mix cds and albums…I had the worst taste in music damn. Gwen stefani was my jam in high school apparently haha
I thought about using a friend’s address who lives in the city I’m trying to relocate to, but it’s a significant distance away from my current job. Wouldn’t someone looking at my resume notice your address says you live 4 hours away from where you work?
If you’re scheduled for an interview that’s not in your current city and is too far to make the round trip in one day (the company is aware you’re coming in from out of town), is it expected that the applicant will cover travel costs? Or does it really depend on the company?
My mom texted me to ask if I wanted to start paying my phone bill (dumb question) and I said no (obviously). Got no response…Hopefully it means she forgot and we’ll go another year without speaking of it
I work in Texas government and I’m pretty sure if we tried to do what Utah did, people would riot outside our building. Probably would say we’re wasting tax dollars and get paid too much to only work 4 days a week hah

The lack of Mexican food on national margarita day is shocking

But what if they’re like “can I join you ;)?” How do you get out of that??

It’s always the same people every week too. You’d think one crippling hangover on a Tuesday would convince them it’s a terrible idea haha
Only 2 of 20 people in my department drink coffee…this doesn’t seem normal
