I love girls who have put a focus on themselves rather than just dating someone to be in a relationship. It shows that they’ll be a lot less maintenance down the road, and I dig a sense of independence. Plus, they’re usually the best version of themselves and not tampered by a LTR where you sort of become part of the person you’re with. Woof.
To all the good single people out there, PLEASE don’t cuff to cuff. Embrace being single. Go out with a lot of different people. Put yourself first (before you can’t anymore). Enjoy having options and variety in your life (major key alert).
But, if you live in DC and just need a drinking/FWB buddy, sup?
I appreciate your assumption to pay part of the tab and am very happy you’re into cheap drinks before. There used to be a taco chain called “Lime” in Chinatown that did $2 cervezas Mon-Thur that is now extinct, so I’m out of ideas or opinions on good HH spots around that part of town. I usually resort to Rocket Bar. Also, I’ve never been on reddit so please keep me informed via PGP
I’ll take you out to Farmers & Distillers so we can both get too drunk and berate the person who gave that distasteful painting of our day-one commander the thumbs up.
I agree with everything that was written about this article in theory, but I went to this place a few weeks ago, unknowing of its hipster appeal (I live in Arlington for all you D.C. folks) and I actually enjoyed it. Saw a lot of suits and well made cocktails while looking past the boogie decor. Luckily, I missed the atrocity that is that painting of our original commander in chief.
I’m all for people believing in whatever they want to believe in, but like money and politics, I think it’s best to not talk about in public. That’s not to say you can’t be proud of what you celebrate, but most religious people don’t care to understand that others viewpoints are just as valid (or invalid) as theirs and that’s when the issues start. Clearly this asshole doesn’t represent every Christian, but I think for society as a whole it’d be best to just celebrate whatever you want to celebrate within the walls of your own home (metaphorically speaking). It kind of goes along with the separation of church and state idea, which is wildly undervalued in American society/politics in my opinion
Can you do something about how the comments are being formatted? A lot of words are being separated and having a letter or two in the following line, it just looks budget. Also, if you’re up for it, please change the Tiffany’s-esque color thing you got going on, it’s shallow and pedantic
Sometimes. It was left out to show how exhausting it can be to sit an an uber after regretfully having sex with someone, that’s all. No need to be a grammar nazi, you’re not my boss
Fingering typically leads to blowjobs which typically lead to not needing sex (if she does it right and you just want to nut so you don’t have to spend the night with her and get sweaty and then take a surged uber in the morning while making small talk with your driver who can smell the sex on you) which typically leads to no pregnancy scares. Seems like a win to me
Four years out of college and I finally have a job that I like and a boss I respect. I had a decent manager prior, but it was strictly a work relationship, not a personal one. I can say for a fact, it makes the biggest difference in your personal & professional life to have a boss/mentor that you want to become. That being said, who in DC wants to get happy hour? It is Thursday after all
Totally agree here – or it possibly lubricated my depression since I was usually drinking a bottle of red in my bathtub alone while listening. Either way, water under the bridge at this point.
Maybe we meet up at Farmers & Distillers and then separately write posts about our PGP Blind Date experience?

Unfortunately you’re right. Everybody’s a salesman I guess…

Not divorced, employed, (somewhat) stable and have a full head of hair. Sup?
Anne Hathaway yesterday…this disgusting piece of human garbage today…Why do I feel sad now?
I unfortunately saw it too and now I can’t unsee it. WHY ROBERT DENIRO WHY?!?!?
I almost didn’t read this article because of the Anne Hathaway photo…god she’s the worst
Sup
“I did not read any of the information about her and matched with her solely due to my desire to see her naked”
If I died today, this sentence would sum up the last six months of my life and for some reason, I’m ok with that.
