I’ve been unemployed in Accounting since April, every position I’ve interviewed at has had people take a lower position than they should it they just do away with it and spread out the work. Also, the pay rates seem to have done down by 10K or so in this downturn. Lay Offs aint easy man.
Possum’s are disgusting. My dad shot one in our backyard with a pellet gun after it ripped up my dogs ears. I got to shovel into a trash bag so we could get it rabies tested.
Yea, I’m from Houston and 7 years ago (Jesus) when I graduated I really didn’t want to move back. It has been a great experience and has a few really great areas. Anyone that lives here (and it will grow on you) isn’t surprised that it tops most lists because of the bars, food, and constant festivals/activities are great.

Had some friends that went thee recently and the same thing happened to one of them. He negotiated getting on the plane though.
