It’s been a game changer the past few years. The bay includes a midnight champagne flute, they have a live dj that’s pretty good, and drinks aren’t anymore expensive than normal. So we all go to dinner beforehand, and the bay is reserved and waiting for us so no line.
Top golf is a fun NYE move. Our SO’s get to be out and about, we get to swing some clubs, each bay has tv(big for playoff games the past few years) and the bay was like $20/person.
Sunday happy hours (especially at Mexican places) are very underrated. A few places near me in DFW offer $2 margs, $2 beer, free/$1 quest or guac, etc. Plus the fiancé feels like we are finally getting out of the house for the day, and I still get football on tv.

I once made 300+ Jell-O shots for a house party using 2 cups vodka to one cup water, and I can assure you they are not placebo. I did 10 back-back-back-etc and then blacked out for the first time in my life.

3 years ago I was considered lazy for wearing athleisure out and about. Now…I’m still considered lazy, but at least now it’s not for how I dress.
